Travel Diaries: Italy
Italy was my bucket list destination as long as I could remember and even studied Italian in college. My family and I visited Italy in March of 2023. It was mine and my parents’ first time visiting Europe and it was kinda cool to experience something for the first time together.
We got to see Rome, Florence, and Milan (with quick pit stop in Zurich). Rome, with its rich history, left me in awe of ancient landmarks like the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and the Vatican. Florence captivated me with its Renaissance art and architecture, especially the Duomo and Michelangelo's David. I spent hours wandering the Uffizi Gallery, immersed in masterpieces. But the vineyards were obviously my favorite part. Milan added a modern touch to my journey, with a visit to the stunning Duomo di Milano and the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Each city offered a unique experience, blending history, culture, and style in the most unforgettable way.
