This is my love letter to Scotland. Scotland took me by surprise. I knew it was beautiful but I was truly in awe of the beauty of the Scottish Highlands. The water was sparkly blue that I would’ve easily dove into if it wasn’t 50 degrees outside. The mountains were a shade of green I have never seen before. And maybe it’s because I grew up in Dallas and the most nature I saw was the grass that’s green for a second before it dries up, but I was really romanticizing every second of my stay in Scotland.

We stayed in the Scottish country side and had deer that came up to our house. We fed them bread and they came back every morning and night. Everyone and everything seemed to move slow. The tranquil atmosphere reminded me to be more patient and live in the moment more.

I would go back to Scotland in a heartbeat and be okay with doing just nothing. Enjoy my most recent travel diary, all shot on film.
